Tiger's Milk V&A Waterfront

I recently visited this restaurant at the V&A Waterfront, a prime location known for its beautiful energy and relaxed atmosphere. While my experience was generally "okay", there’s definitely room for improvement. Service was fair, but noticeably slow at times. Our loaded fries had clearly stood for a while and arrived hardened, which affected the overall quality of the dish. The sauce and cutlery station also felt understocked, offering very little variety and, surprisingly, no cutlery at all — we had to request some from our waiter. There was also a mix-up with our bill, and the overall impression I got was that our waiter seemed quite under pressure throughout the service. On the positive side, the Coffee Milkshake and Summer Cocktail were absolutely delightful — beautifully presented, refreshing, and arguably the highlight of the entire meal. Overall, I didn’t dislike my experience, but I do believe the restaurant has massive potential to improve. With such a fantastic setting, a bit more attention to detail in service and food quality could truly elevate the entire experience.

I loved visiting this Tiger’s Milk. The food, ambience and views were great. I have visited many Tiger’s Milk and this was the first time that the music was not so loud so you could at least talk without raising your voice. Made the world of difference to the eating out experience. We went a bit late at night bit the food came very quickly and I especially enjoyed the Quesadilla.

Another great meal at Tigers Milk it never disappoints. The view is to die for! Not really a steak person but my fillet steak was amazing. 2 steaks m, mac & cheese bombs with 5 G&Ts a measly Rs 1030 £43 including a tip!

The food was amazing and the service was just as awesome. I most definitely recommend coming here. Don’t go to the Tygersmilk in Century City. It’s the worst.

I had such a wonderful experience at Tiger’s Milk at the V&A Waterfront. The atmosphere was vibrant, the food was absolutely delicious, and the service truly stood out. A special thank you to our waitress Siyabonga, who was incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional throughout our visit. She made us feel so welcome and made sure everything was perfect. Excellent service like hers is what keeps customers coming back. Highly recommend!
