Melting Pot

Went on a “double date” for Valentine’s Day, our reservation was at 8:15 and we arrived early and were told we can sit at the bar. Justin the bartender was so attentive and served amazing espresso martinis to our party. We were sat at 8:20 and enjoyed our fondue, salads, and our entrees until it hit 10:00. At that point, the GM, Devin, came to our table for what seemed to be a routine table touch. He asked how our meal was and then proceeded to tell us that this is a family establishment and said “we are not kicking you out” but that there were complaints from other “guests and servers” about profanity and overall complaints about our party. We had been sitting and enjoying our meal for almost 2 hours. At this point, the restaurant was closed and the section that we were sitting in was almost empty. This was appalling language from a general manager, scolding adults on Valentine’s Day, an adult oriented holiday. We immediately asked for our check, and appreciated the 70% discount that was applied to our check for the inconvenience. This was an extremely embarrassing moment for members of our party, and hope that issues like this are addressed appropriately in the future. Grant was a great server and explained the menu well to the novice of the group. Go Noles!

Exceptional food experience with the variety of options for each course. Our waitress went at our pace making the entire experience enjoyable, never rushed. I was surprised by a rose pedal, stuffed melting pot character animal and 6 chocolate covered strawberries that were delicious. Thanks everyone, we will be back!

Came here for my wedding anniversary. We got the 4 course meal for 2, and everything we ate was absolutely delicious, including the martinis. Our server, Ashley, was wonderful. We even got a framed picture of us at our table to take home. It was $200 including the 4 course meal for 2, some drinks, the picture, and the tip. Such a great experience, and we will definitely be back in the future.

Best service we have received so far in Destin! Deon was very personable, knowledgeable and attentive. We had a fabulous time until the end when the smoke from the grills around us started taking over 😂

Great experience at The Melting Pot! The atmosphere was excellent and the food was delicious, especially the bourbon cheese fondue. Our server and bartender, Deon, was outstanding, very hospitable, attentive, and he made great martinis. We’ll definitely be back!!
