After 3 years of shopping with the General Store, as a Google Mapper, my top pic of their shop entrance has over 95,000 viewings. POOR QUALITY AND SEMI-HIDDEN TERMS OF CONDITIONS DOES NOT FIT MY NEEDS AND REQUIREMENTS. My negative comments 1 Nov 2023: Your till slip policy for refund of items in saleable condition within 7 days if (A) unused and intact (Without opening and using a product it is impossible to know if a product is fully functional or defective), (B) In the same condition that bought us (Horrible unclear English) and (C) in original packaging as well as original slip... can't return with used or open box, which condition implies no Guarantee or warranty!!! My till slip states "All electronic products must be tested before purchase." However, no one informed us of this at the till so without reading bottom fine print on my till slip, The General Store's "Refusal to guarantee the quality of all specified purchased products, falling into your (A), (B) & (C) statements above, is done in bad faith. I am writing to express my disappointment with the quality of a computer "Mouse" that we recently received from your company. We have been a long-time customer of your company and have not always been satisfied with the quality of your products. However, this most recent delivery has been of extremely poor quality. The mouse I purchased lasted for 4 days and then stopped charging. This mouse, and previous LED torches and a street light, that we received were not up to the usual standards that we have come to expect from your company. The items were correctly packaged and undamaged at purchase and remained non defective for a few days before the electronics packed up. Additionally, these product itself was not of the quality that we have previously received for other products. This has caused a significant inconvenience to my business, as we have had to return the products and seek alternative suppliers. We are concerned that this may be a trend, rather than an isolated incident, and we would appreciate your immediate attention to this matter. We would like to request that you investigate the matter and take appropriate action to rectify the situation. We value our relationship with your company and would like to continue to do business with you. However, we cannot continue to accept poor quality products. We hope that you will take immediate action to rectify the situation and replace the poor quality mouse. My Positive Comments back in 2020: I was pleasantly surprised when I first visited the General Store. There is just so much to see, based on whatever you may need for the house, business, parties, electronics, etc, etc. We bought a number of items during the first three hour browsing session over the weekend. This place has very cheap prices!!! The quality of products will still have to be proved by time, though at such low prices you can afford to rebuy once a year. I had to however return a dud USB charger. Their manager confirmed it was unserviceable and immediately took it back and repaid me. Great attitude by him and also those who assisted us in the shop. I will be back.

Stuff is always helpful when I enter the store first thing I do is to show the pictures of what I'm looking for and ask wich side is it on, then they point me to the isle numbers and I easily find it quick that helps me a lot because I don't spend so much time at the store. Best store in general affordable prices and great quality on thier things.

Flippin crazy stocked. Massive range of stuff. Certain specific things you might not find in for example the tool section but very well stocked. Lady at the door is a bit aggressive though but I guess it's because people are carrying stuff out the door without paying.....
