Phra Nakhon

We had dinner at Phra Nakhon at Capella Bangkok and absolutely loved the experience. The evening atmosphere is beautiful and serene, especially by the river, making the dinner feel intimate and special. The Thai dishes were excellent and clearly the highlight of the meal. We chose to focus more on Western dishes this time; they were good and well-executed, though not particularly wow. That said, it’s understandable, as Phra Nakhon is a restaurant that truly shines with its Thai cuisine. The service was warm, professional, and attentive throughout the evening. Overall, a wonderful dining experience in a stunning setting, especially if you’re there for Thai food.

Wow.. One of the best dining experiences we've had in Bangkok. I'm not usually one for fancy Thai but the service here was really good. I know it's pricey and modern but I found the iPad menu method of ordering really annoying and slow, and maybe tacky? It was basically a long scrolling pdf and it was not interactive. We ordered a ton of dishes. The presentation was very pretty to match the atmosphere of the garden and river view. I think this would be good for a date or family gathering. Expect to pay quite a bit for what you're normally used to for these classic Thai dishes. Due to it being a world class, modern hotel—this place is very ♿️ 👍 wheelchair friendly.

It's 10/10 restaurant. A must visit place when in Bangkok. Food is amazing, the staff is the kindest and atmosphere is awesome. Might feel pricey but think how much you spend for foodin resteurants back home :)

We chose to dine at this restaurant to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Given its Michelin recommendations, we had high expectations. The atmosphere was excellent—elegant and relaxing—but unfortunately, the food quality was only average. The dishes were overpriced, and the flavors were quite ordinary, not particularly memorable. The one thing we appreciated was the quiet environment. There weren’t many people around, which allowed us to enjoy a peaceful dinner without distractions. Overall, while the ambiance was lovely, the dining experience didn’t quite live up to the reputation.

I had a wonderful lunch at this restaurant. The duck curry I had was so tasty that I couldn’t stop eating… which is uncommon for me. The wine selection was fantastic, and the service was very good. It was also very easy to get to, just off the river pier. Every thing was reasonably priced as well.
